Medium yellow. There’s no doubt in nose, it’s a muscat (and how it’s for not confussing me! ;) Rippen water-melon, peach, apricot, rippen medlar. In mouth as well. It’s like a walk for a mediterranean orchard in a sunset.
Nice wine and nice sip. Nevertheless and due to the kind of grape it’s a difficult pairing. A funny item is that in the label appear explictly ’it’s one of the fewer wines nicely paired with asparagus’ Anyway, I think it’s ok for summer salads whose pairing are difficult as well. For instance it’s been fine with water-melon salad and with a chickpea salad.
It’s a good QPR for about 5 EUR.
