Midafternoon and still cooking for lunch. Ice and snow storm outside. It looks so cold and it’s warm at home. In the meanwhile Grizzabella is singing ’Midnight’. I’ve never know why this song thrills me. Maybe it’s not the best neither the best environment of time for a sip of wine, but today it’s to be. Today it’s enoughly good.

Dark red medium coloured with soft brick rim.
Blackberries in nose. Nice balsamic, but no medicines, mint, eucalyptus. Just balsamic.
In mouth blackberries, mediterranean brushwood in backnose.
Medium persistence.
It’s a nice wine, it’s the E.Mendoza’s wine I’ve more enjoyed.
It’s a been paired with a stew of veal cheeks (carrilleras in spanish)
