Badiola Las Parcelas 2018

Fresh, youthful looking almost purple wine with hints of blue throughout. Full bodied with very long, very slow glyceric legs.

On the nose expressive! Intense black fruit, mature cherry, blueberry with a lot of blue flowers (violets) and nice spicy notes (clove). Evolves well in the glass, becoming more intense and quite classy.

The fruit that was evident on the nose is carried forward into the mouth. Very pleasant, fresh but with mature fruit on entry, growing, but not too full and with a fresh acidity. It has a good balance, I like the minerality in a long finish with memories of the cherry fruit predominantly in the aftertaste. Overall impression is of a very enjoyable, quality wine which should be very good for another couple of years.
