Magnificent dark cherry color, very intense, with bright, clear purple edges. Complex and elegant in the nose, it releases intense aromas of ripe red and black fruits with a very subtle and pleasant floral heart of violets and roses, which alternates continually with the fruit sensation. Also appearing are very refined mineral sensations, balsamic aromas, mint, eucalyptus, milk chocolate, lactic notes, black licorice, liquored coffee, aromatic herbs, fresh scrub. All are well-integrated, becoming more pronounced with three hours of decanting. Wonderful in the mouth, this wine fills the palate and is smooth and integrated, showing vigor and vitality but remaining elegant. It evolves to reveal ripe fruit and its retronasal characteristics are similar to its nose, with lots of menthols and a seemingly never-ending finish. Marvelous
