They say that variety is the spice of life… the case is that my opinion about this wine is much more positive than others. Very opaque black cherry with a purple edge. Decanted 90 minutes beforehand and drunk with Riedel Tempranillo. Intense nose, somewhat sweet with hints of carob beans, spice, notes of ripe blackberries, well-integrated wood and a subtle touch of minerals. The mouth is powerful, with good acidity, long and bitter due (in my opinion) to a lack of bottle, since the toast of the cask seems to be the leading note. The mouth opens like a piledriver and combined with dinner (slightly hot and spicy) exceptionally well.
