Black cherry with slatish highlights and a slate edge. Medium intensity on the nose with the toast if the cask, elegant notes of cinnamon and compote and fruit, such as plums and cherries. In the mouth, it is fleshy, elegant, no edges whatsoever… quite long. Who would have thought it when it came onto the market: the somewhat clumsy young man has become a respectable gentleman.
