The top cuvee of this estate made from old vines of Pinot d’aunis. Light raspberry red, familiar characteristics of black pepper, herbs and the animal farm. The palate was not as focused as the previous two wines. It showed its herby characteristics and a longer length but my view is that this needs more bottle age to develop properly. It’s fairly closed at present so there is no rush to drink these, if you own any bottles.
