Herederos de Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva 2012

Intense garnet colour with mature ruby notes. Very long, slow , fat, glycerinous legs.

On the nose it appears ready, lots of mature black fruits, plums, blackcurrants, deep and somewhat spicy. It has an elegant but youthful note.

In the mouth tannic and a little 'green' with it. The fruit is there but caught under the tannin, a pleasant acidity and a maturity and heat from the alcohol. Another wine for the future, I think.
