Opaque black cherry with a purple edge. Fresh and pleasant nose with hints of balsam, red fruit and smooth notes of the cask. The mouth is still harsh with good sweet tannins and fleshy. It is long and the finish leaves behind fresh notes that are lightly reminiscent of after eight mints.
