The nose is very changing, opening with interesting notes of caramel and vanilla and moving onto old leather and mineral. The mouth is tannic, still dry, persistent, dense and structured with a slightly bitter finish. It improves with airing before drinking (decant 1-2 hours beforehand) and a drinking temperature below 18º.
