Medium bodied, garnet with a terracotta edge, thin, long legs.
Stewed fruits initially, creamy with a hint of age, medium intensity nose with blackberry and blackcurrant, ripe grapes, spices, peppers and clove with smoky balsamic notes and coffee.
In the mouth smooth, polished tannins merge with fruit, ripe and meaty, fresh with a recurring note of ageing, toasted almonds, all in all a very nice wine with a good finish. Like a tutorial in university with an other worldly professor!
