Coma d’En Pou is 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Syrah, 22% Grenache, 15%

Coma d’En Pou is 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Syrah, 22% Grenache, 15% Merlot and aged 16 months in new French oak. I think all of the different grape varieties are fermented and aged separately. The wine has a powerful aroma of smoky oak, sweet black fruits, coffee, dark chocolate, and licorice. It shows very lively in mouth, with superb fruit, a bit of minerals and tar, firm but not edgy tannins, and good persistence. A very frank wine but not without elegance.
