Ver mensaje de rayolThe condado de haza is one of my favourite wines as regards quality price ratio.
I see however that there is now a reserva of this. Is this a new departure ? I knew about Alenza but what does this new cuvee mean for the regular bottling ?

Ver mensaje de rayolI know the first availablity of the reserva in the US was the 2000, but my impression was that reservas were released before that in Spain. I think Fernandez even released a small number of gran reservas from the 1992 vintage.

have to say I’ve never come across it until last summer in Spain.

so we have Haza, Reserva, Gran Reserva (occasionally!) and Alenza !!!
I suppose the youth of the vineyard prevented these bottlings before ?
