Ojeando la web de la gran periodista especializada Jancis Robinson (http://www.jancisrobinson.com/) descubro que el clásico "World Atlas of Wine" de Hugh Johnson está a punto de salir en su quinta edición, esta vez con la importante colaboración de Jancis.
Comentarios de Ms Robinson interesantes:
"In Spain and Italy, the wine authorities can give the impression of desperately chasing rather than leading individual innovation."
Many of the more interesting new Spanish wines to emerge over the next few years will doubtless be made from vineyards outside the best known regions, for the country is explosive with both potential and the will to realise it.
In an attempt to keep up with the Spanish wine revolution as closely as possible however, coverage of Spain has been extended perhaps more dramatically than anywhere else apart from Italy. Priorat, Navarra, Somontano and Rías Baixas all feature in detail for the first time, with their own maps, while Ribera del Duero's map and text spread themselves over a much larger area."
Revolución del vino español, regiones nuevas, gran potencial. Ya es hora de que ocupemos cada vez más hojas en estas grandes obras de referencia internacional!
