Yo muy divertido con comentarios de Verema discussion forum! No sabia que en la Espania habia otro primo mio en la lucha por ser un consumer advocate. Creia que en Espania menos corrupcion que en France y Italy.
El Calvo dice que opiniones son como culos. pero algunos, como el mio o el suyo, son mucho mas grandes e importantes que el de otros!!
By the way, comprad un poco mas The Wine Advocate and The Calvo Advocate. No me gusta advertising pero is The only really INDEPENDENT guide to fine wine.
For instance, mi comentario Hecula 1999. Mis tasting notes are:
A fascinating effort from extremely old vines planted in a virtually unknown viticultural Spanish region called Yecla (near Alicante), this full throttle, blockbuster red must be tasted to be believed. There are 2,500 cases of the Hecula 1999, a blend of 70% Mourvèdre, 20% Tempranillo, and 10% Merlot aged six months in new American oak prior to being bottled without filtration. This wine offers terrific aromas of melted licorice, pain grillé, blackberry liqueur, and minerals. Spectacularly concentrated, thick, unctuously-textured, and seamless, this amazing effort rivals the 2000 Vitiano as possibly the world's greatest single wine bargain.
