- Hatzidakis Special Cuvée no. 17 2007. Hatzidakis. Santorini (12.7 EUR)
Weary. As day shows after the storm. It's everything it had, but it's something like... narrow?
- Patio Ensamblaje 2008. Viñedos Cano Zarco, S.L. DO La Mancha
Solvent. It's paired nicely with food without claiming any attention, doing its job easily and fine. You realize it when the bottle goes empty.
- Château Bouscassé 2004. A. Brumont - SCEA Montus Bouscassé. AOC Madiran (10,6 EUR)
I'd in mind to forget this bottle in the cellar for more years, but once I drank the 2005 vintage I wondered that maybe I was excesively confident. It's ok, roundshaped. With tannins, but more kind I would have guessed. Is it in a dumb phase? Plateau? I don't know.
- Emilio Valerio Laderas de Montejurra 2009. DO Navarra. (5-6 EUR).
Freshnesss. Animal hints a big bite of redcurrants. Easy and refreshing quaff.
- A. et P. de Villaine "La Digoine" 2008. Côte Chalonnaise - Borgoña (20.71 EUR)
Nice to meet you. You've just reminded why I do drink wine. I don't drink wine neither for marketing, nor for labels, nor for any tradition, nor for suggestions... I drink wine for the beautiness and 'cos all I want is that next twelve bottles would be so good like this one.
- Los Cipreses de Usaldon 2010. Viñedos Culturales-Bernabé Navarro. DO Alicante
It sounds like a good Morgon. Fermented grape juice including stems. Freshness and vividness. More!
- Muga Rosado 2010. Bodegas Muga. DOC Rioja (5.61 EUR)
An extra nudge of bubble shape and a nudge less of acidity than preceding vintage. Anyway as long as usual. More.
- Domaine Combier Crozes Hermitage 2009. (18.9 EUR)
Round shaped. Tons of black olives, thym, rosemary and oregano. Quite balloon shaped. I miss the acidity. It's fine, but it's just fine.
- Patio Selección 2008. Vinos Cano Zarco. DO La Mancha
Expressive at this moment. Energy. Grape character, herbaceous, smoke and tapenade hints.
- Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg Bourgogne Rouge 2008.(19 EUR)
For years with four winters http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjC2XJfVAXA
It makes me feel good from first sip and it evolves until the last one continously. Fruit, acidity, spicy. More.
Regards,
Jose
